Manage your payment methods

Abstract

How to add, delete, or edit a payment method in Moosend.

When purchasing a subscription plan or credits from Moosend, you can pay with either a credit card or PayPal. Our PayPal account is payments@moosend.com. You can add multiple payment methods to your account for future use.

Add a payment method before purchasing a plan or credits

You can add a new payment method in Billing before you purchase a Moosendsubscription plan or credits.

To add a payment method before purchasing a plan or credits:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Payment methods.

  3. Click Add new.

  4. Click either Card or PayPal as payment method.

  5. In the Add payment method dialog, fill out the details and then click Add payment method.

Add a payment method upon checkout

You can also add a payment method on the checkout page after purchasing a subscription plan or credits.

To add a payment method upon checkout:

  1. On the Checkout page, click Add new next to Payment methods.

  2. Click either Card or PayPal as payment method.

  3. In the Add payment method dialog, fill out the details and then click Validate details and complete payment.

Edit a payment method

If you have added a credit card or PayPal account as a payment method, you can't edit its details. Instead, you can add a new payment method with the correct details and delete the old one.

If the credit card or PayPal account you want to edit is your primary payment method, you must set a different primary payment method before you can remove it.

Delete a payment method

You can delete any payment method you've added to your account if it is no longer valid. If you want to delete your primary payment method, you have to first set a different payment method as your primary.

To delete a payment method:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Payment methods.

  3. Click three_dots_icon.png next to the payment method you want to delete and click Delete.

Set a different payment method as the primary

When you make your first purchase, the payment method you use is automatically saved as your primary payment method. If you have multiple payment methods, you can set any of them as your primary.

Note

If you are on a recurring subscription, your primary payment method is automatically charged for plan renewals.

To set a different payment method as the primary:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Payment methods.

  3. Click three_dots_icon.png next to the payment method you want to set as the primary and click Set as primary.
