View the double opt-in verification status of a recipient

Abstract

How to view the double opt-in verification status your email recipients.

If you have selected any of the double opt-in options for your email list, you can view the verification status of your recipients in the Double opt-in column.

To view the double opt-in verification status of a recipient:

  1. On the menu bar, click Audience > Email lists.

  2. Click the email list that includes the recipient you want to view.

  3. On the menu on the left, click View all members.

  4. Find the email address that you want to verify the status of.

  5. In the Double opt-in column, check the following status:

    • Verified - recipient has given you consent through the the double opt-in process to send email marketing newsletters.

    • Verified by Admin - recipient was imported either manually or by using any of the available import methods, and verified to have provided consent.

    • Not Verified - the recipient has not given consent through the double opt-in process, for the following reasons:

      • Recipient has subscribed to your email list but hasn't clicked the verification link in the confirmation email

      • Recipient was imported either manually or by using any of the available import methods, but was not verified to have provided consent.
