Abstract

Learn how to find the campaign ID, edit, rename, delete, duplicate, preview, as well as how to rename and add labels to your campaigns.

You can manage your campaigns after you create them in Moosend. This topic describes how to find the campaign ID, rename, delete, duplicate, preview, as well as how to add labels to your campaigns.

Find the campaign ID

The campaign ID is the identifier for your campaign. You can have campaigns with the same names because they have unique IDs. You can use the ID in API calls related to campaigns or when reporting issues.

To find the campaign ID:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Click the name of the campaign you want to get the ID of.

  3. Below the campaign's name, you can find the campaign ID.

Edit a campaign

You can edit a campaign you have created in Moosend with a Draft status.

To edit a campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Click the name of the campaign you want to edit.

  3. To make changes to specific details, on the menu on the left, click the corresponding tab and make your changes.

  4. Click Save & exit.

Rename a campaign

You can change the name of any campaign you have created in Moosend with a Draft status.

To rename a campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Click the name of the draft campaign you want to rename.

  3. On the menu on the left, click Set basic settings.

  4. In the Campaign name field, enter the new name of your campaign.

  5. Click Save & exit.

Delete a campaign

You can delete any campaign you've created if it is no longer needed. You can reuse the name of a deleted campaign because campaigns have unique IDs.

To delete a campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Find the campaign you want to delete.

  3. Click three_dots_icon.png and click Delete.

A pop-up message appears on the page confirming that you want to permanently delete your campaign.

  4. Click OK.

Duplicate a campaign

You might want to duplicate an existing campaign to reuse its settings and design with slight variations. It saves time and effort compared to creating a new campaign from scratch.

To duplicate a campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Find the campaign you want to duplicate.

  3. Click three_dots_icon.png and click Duplicate.

The duplicated campaign is added to your list of campaigns with its name appended with Copy.

Preview a campaign

You can get a preview of your campaign design even without opening the campaign editor.

To preview a campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Find the campaign you want to preview.

  3. Click three_dots_icon.png and click Preview.

The campaign design displays on a new page.

Add or remove a campaign label

You can add labels to your campaigns to organize them into topics, audience, purpose, or any label necessary for internal use.

To add a label to a campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Find the campaign you want to label.

  3. In the Labels column, click Add label Add_label_icon.png.

  4. In the Add labels dialog, enter the label name and press Enter.

To remove a label from an campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Find the relevant campaign.

  3. In the Labels column, click Delete_label_icon.png next to the label name.
