Moosend lets you import your email recipients by copying and pasting data, using TXT, CSV, or Excel files and through available plugins.

When importing, Moosend ensures that your email list is free from any duplicates or unsubscribed members. If you notice a decrease in the number of members on your list, it is likely due to Moosend system checks.

The available import methods are described in the following sections.

You can import your email list contacts using files of the .csv or .txt type up to 40 MB in size. If your data contains any special characters, you must upload a UTF-8 file to ensure compatibility.

  1. On the menu bar, click Audience > Email lists.

  2. Click the name of the email list that you want to add contacts to.

    Note

    Note

If you have not mapped all uploaded data to their corresponding fields, a pop-up dialog asks you to confirm that you want to ignore any unmapped columns. Click Ignore and continue.
