Integrate Moosend with third-party applications

Abstract

How to integrate Moosend with different applications and platforms.

Moosend lets you integrate with external applications and platforms and share information between them. The following sections describe the different integration procedures.

Import Moosend contacts to BigMarker

The integration of Moosend with BigMarker allows you to share your contacts to your webinar registrations. You can select an email list from Moosend and add it to your selected webinar.

To import Moosend contacts to BigMarker:

  1. Log in to your BigMarker account.

  2. Click My Webinars and click the webinar to which you want to import your Moosend contacts.

  3. On the menu bar, click Integrations.

  4. Click Moosend.

  5. To enable integration, click the switch to put it in the On state.

  6. In the API Key field, enter your Moosend API key and click Save.

  7. In the Import Settings section, select the Moosend email list you want to import, and click Import Now.

Export BigMarker contacts to Moosend

You can export your BigMarker webinar contacts such as registrants, attendees, no-shows, and recording viewers to an email list in Moosend .

To export BigMarker contacts to Moosend :

  1. Log in to your BigMarker account.

  2. Click My Webinars and click the webinar from which want to export your BigMarker contacts.

  3. On the menu bar, click Integrations.

  4. Click Moosend.

  5. To enable integration, click the switch to put it in the On state.

  6. In the API Key field, enter your Moosend API key and click Save.

  7. In the Export Settings section, you can do the following:

    • Select the webinar contacts you want to export from BigMarker and the target Moosend email list.

    • Select the New webinar registrants will be added to your Moosend contacts check box if you want to automatically add new registrants to your email list.

    • Select the New webinar recording viewers will be added to your Moosend contacts check box if you want to automatically add new recording viewers registrants to your email list.

  8. In the Map Data Fields section, match the generated BigMarker contacts fields to their corresponding Moosend fields, and click Export Now.

Verify your Moosend email lists using Clearout

The integration with Clearout lets you to verify your email lists in Moosend . After they've been verified, you can export your clean list back to your Moosend account.

To verify your Moosend email lists using Clearout:

  1. Log in to your Clearout account and then click Add List.

  2. Click Moosend and then click Click Here to Connect with Moosend.

  3. In the Add Moosend Account pop-up dialog, enter your Moosend API key and account name and click Add Account.

  4. Select the Moosend email lists that you want to verify and click Add to My List.

  5. Click Verify to start verifying the selected email lists. When finished, you can click Download the Result to download the verified list as a CSV or an XLSX file.

  6. To export your verified list back to Moosend account, click Export.

  7. In the Export Verified List to Moosend dialog, select one or both of the following options and then click Export:

    • Unsubscribe - exports the verified list to Moosend and unsubscribes any email addresses that are invalid or unknown.

    • Append - exports the verified list to Moosend and appends the list with your selected Clearout fields such as Status, Reason, Verified On, and so on.

Add a Moosend action on a Convertful widget button

You can connect Convertful to your Moosend account to create widgets that can perform different actions to grow and segment your email lists.

To add a Moosend action to a Convertful button:

  1. Log in to your Convertful account and go to your site.

  2. Click Integrations and then click Add Integration.

  3. On the Choose Integration Type page, click Moosend.

  4. In the Account API Key field, enter your Moosend API key and click Connect.

  5. On the Moosend page, select the email lists that relate to your site and click Save Changes.

  6. In the Default List drop-down menu, select your default email list. New widgets will automatically add subscribers to your selected list.

    Note

    The default settings are not mandatory and when you edit the actions on a button for a specific widget, you can specify a custom list manually.

  7. If your subscribers have given their consent to be added to the email list, turn on the Added members have given their subscription consent switch and then click Save Changes.

  8. In the Custom Fields section, in the Moosend Custom Field field, enter the custom field that matches the given value in the Convertful Field field.

  9. To add a Moosend action on a widget button, go to Button Settings and click On Submit Actions.

  10. Click Add Action, scroll down to Moosend and then select an action from the list.

Connect your Moosend account to MailOptin

You can connect your Moosend account using your API key. After you connect to MailOptin, you can start capturing leads and sending newsletters.

To connect your Moosend Moosend account to MailOptin:

  1. Log in to your MailOptin account.

  2. Click Integrations.

  3. In the Moosend Connection section, in the Enter your API key field, enter your Moosend API key.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Connect your Moosend account to Optimonk

Using your API key, you can connect your Moosend account to Optimonk. After you establish a connection, you can automatically transfer your Optimonk leads and visitors' email addresses to Moosend .

To connect your Moosend account to Optimonk:

  1. Log in to your Optimonk account.

  2. Select a template for your.

  3. In the Where would you like to run this campaign pop-up dialog, select a domain to run your campaign:

    • New domain - enter a domain, for example, www.example.com.

    • Existing domain - select a domain from the drop-down list.

  4. Click Create Campaign.

  5. Edit your campaign and click Save.

  6. Go to the Integrations section and click Setup.

  7. Select Moosend email marketing service.

  8. In the API key field, enter your Moosend API key and click Test Connection.

Connect your Moosend account to ReportGarden

You can connect your Moosend account to ReportGarden using your API key. After you connect to ReportGarden, you can start tracking and analyzing metrics from your Moosend campaigns.

To connect your Moosend account to ReportGarden:

  1. Open the ReportGarden app.

  2. On the left menu, click Accounts.

  3. On the Link your account page, click Moosend.

  4. On the Setup Moosend page, in the Account Name field, enter your Moosend account name.

  5. In the API Key field, enter your Moosend API key and click Submit.

Import a Moosend landing page to WordPress

You can import an existing Moosend landing page to your WordPress website using a plugin. After you import, you can edit the landing page in Moosend , or edit the URL in WordPress.

To import a Moosend landing page to WordPress:

  1. Log in to your WordPress account and on the dashboard, click Plugins.

  2. Find the Moosend Landing Pages plugin and click Install Now.

  3. When the installation is complete, click Activate.

  4. Click the link to log in to your Moosend account.

  5. Fill out the Email or Username and Password fields and click Login.

  6. On the Moosend menu on the left, click Import to Wordpress.

  7. In the Your Moosend Landing Pages section, find the published landing page you want to import and then click Import.

  8. When the import process is complete, you can either click Save to save it as draft or click Publish to publish it to your WordPress site.

To edit an imported landing page:

  1. On the Moosend menu on the left, click Landing Pages.

  2. In the Landing Pages section, find the imported landing page you want to edit and click Edit in Moosend.

  3. In the editor in Moosend , edit the landing page and click Proceed to Next Step to save your changes.

    You will be redirected back to your WordPress website.

  4. To edit the URL settings of your landing page, on the Moosend menu on the left, click Settings.

  5. In The URL pattern for your landing pages field, enter your preferred URL pattern and then click Save Changes.

    Note

    The default Moosend URL pattern is moosend_landing. For example, if your WordPress website is http://mywordpressexample.com, the default URL of your landing page is http://mywordpressexample.com/wordpress/moosend_landing/new-landing-page.

    If you enter landing as your URL pattern, the new URL of your will be: http://mywordpressexample.com/wordpress/landing/new-landing-page.

  6. On the Moosend menu on the left, click Settings, click Permalinks and then click Save Changes.

Integrate Moosend with other application using Zapier

You can integrate with Zapier to connect Moosend to other web services. You can set up automated connections called zaps to build automated workflows between Moosend and other apps.

To integrate Moosend with other application using Zapier:

  1. Log in to your Zapier account.

  2. On the left menu, click My Apps.

  3. Click Add connection.

  4. In the Add a new app connection dialog, enter Moosend and select the Moosend app.

  5. In the API Key field, enter your Moosend API key.

  6. Click Yes, Continue.

  7. Click Create Zap to use a a prebuilt zap or create your own using the zap editor. See Moosend and Zapier for some example workflows.
