The segmentation criteria

Abstract

Describes how you can use automated segments and campaigns with audience discovery.

Moosend lets you create segments to target audiences based on their data and improve the efficiency of your email marketing campaigns. To achieve this, you must have a vast list of options when setting your list segment's conditions. This means that each segment you create can become a perfect representation of your email marketing strategy.

You can target your audience based on the information you have gathered about them in the form of custom fields (age, gender, size, interests) and then combine these with what Moosend tells you about how your email list members react to your newsletters (opens, clicks, and so on). You can filter your email list accordingly and send targeted campaigns.

Moosend comes with the following segmentation criteria:

Member email

Finds all the email addresses from your group of recipients that contain a particular keyword.

Member name

Fetches recipients with a particular name for a special name-day offering.

Member mobile

Organizes recipients according to their mobile number.

Member tag

Distinguishes recipients of your email lists using a tag identification.

Date added

Fetches recipients according to the date they were added to your email list.

Date updated

Filters recipients based on when their information was last updated.

Date & time added

Fetches recipients according to the date and time they were added to your email list.

Date & time updated

Filters recipients based on when their information was last updated.

Other mailing list

Filters recipients based on whether they belong to a different email list or not.

Verified for double opt-in

Filters recipients based on whether they are verified for the Double Opt-in setting.

Subscription method

Filters recipients according to the way they were added to your email lists.

Opened any campaign

Filters recipients based on whether they have opened any campaign or not.

Filters recipients who have clicked on your newsletter links any specific number of times, or list members who have never clicked on any link during a specific period of time.

Filters recipients based on whether they open your campaigns through their mobile phone, their desktops, or another type of device.
