Manage your subscription plans and credits

Abstract

Overview of managing your Moosend subscription plans and credits.

In Moosend, you can choose between purchasing a subscription plan or credits, depending on your email campaign needs. After your purchase, you can upgrade, view, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. If you require a custom enterprise plan, you can request a quote.

Purchase a subscription plan

You can choose a Moosend subscription plan that suits your business needs and the amount and frequency of campaigns you typically send. If you send campaigns regularly, a monthly, fixed plan can be more convenient to manage. You can use a credit card or PayPal account to purchase a plan.

To purchase a subscription plan:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Plans & credits.

  3. In the Plans & credits section, click  Subscription plans.

  4. Select a subscription plan and click Purchase.

  5. On the Checkout page, check the details of your selected plan.

  6. If you have already added a payment method, you can select your preferred payment method and go to the last step.

  7. If you haven't added any payment method yet, click Add new.

  8. Click Card or PayPal depending on what payment method you want to add.

  9. In the Add payment method dialog, fill out the details and then click Validate details and complete payment.

  10. Click Checkout to complete your purchase. An invoice is sent to you with your billing information.

Purchase credits

Moosend gives you the option to purchase credits instead of a monthly plan. With credits, you are only charged for what you actually use. One credit allows you to send one campaign to a single address.

To purchase credits:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Plans & credits.

  3. In the Plans & credits section, click Credits.

  4. Using the slide bar, select the number of credits you want to purchase and click Continue to payment.

  5. On the Checkout page, check the details of your credits.

  6. If you have already added a payment method, you can select your preferred payment method and go to the last step.

  7. If you haven't added any payment method yet, click Add new.

  8. Click Card or PayPal depending on what payment method you want to add.

  9. In the Add payment method dialog, fill out the details and then click Validate details and complete payment.

  10. Click Checkout to complete your purchase. An invoice is sent to you with your billing information.

Upgrade your subscription plan

If you are subscribed to a plan, you have the option to upgrade it at any time, whether it's a monthly subscription or a credit plan. If you upgrade your monthly plan while you are in the middle of your current billing cycle, you can access the higher subscribers limit immediately, and there will be a prorated charge on your next monthly bill. If you upgrade from a credit plan to a monthly plan, the monthly billing process starts immediately.

To upgrade your subscription plan:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Overview.

  3. In the Overview section, click Change plan.

  4. Select a subscription plan and click Purchase

  5. On the Checkout page, check the details of your selected plan:

    • The amount on the left shows you the monthly price of your upgraded plan, which starts after your current billing circle.

    • The amount on the right shows you the prorated charge for the remaining billing cycle.

  6. If you have already added a payment method, you can select your preferred payment method. If you haven't added any payment method yet, click Add new.

  7. Click Checkout to complete your purchase. An invoice is sent to you with your billing information.

View your active subscribers or credits

It can be useful to check the total number of active subscribers or the remaining credits in your account to optimize your usage in your future campaigns.

To view your active subscribers or credits:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Overview.

  3. In the Overview section, in the Your unique active subscribers, view the total number of unique and active subscribers you have. Below this number, you'll see the number of subscribers remaining in your plan.

    Note

    Any recent changes made to your subscriber list, such as importing or unsubscribing, may take 5 to 10 minutes to reflect accurately in your account. During this time, the numbers displayed might not match the actual number of your unique subscribers.

  4. In the Credits section, view the number of credits you spent in the previous month and the total available credits in your account.

Downgrade your subscription plan

If you are subscribed to a plan, you have the option to downgrade it if you no longer need some of the features of your current subscription plan.

To downgrade your subscription plan:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Overview.

  3. In the Overview section, click Change plan.

  4. Select a subscription plan and click Downgrade

  5. On the Checkout page, check the details of your selected plan:

    • The amount on the left shows you the monthly price of your downgraded plan.

    • The amount on the right shows you the prorated charge for the remaining billing cycle.

  6. If you have already added a payment method, you can select your preferred payment method. If you haven't added any payment method yet, click Add new.

  7. Click Checkout to complete your purchase. An invoice is sent to you with your billing information.

Request a quote for a custom plan

If you require a subscription plan that is tailored to your specific business needs, you can request a quote for a custom enterprise plan.

To request a quote for a custom plan:

  1. On the menu bar, click More > Billing.

  2. On the menu on the left, click Overview.

  3. In the Overview section, click Change plan.

  4. Navigate to the custom enterprise plan and click Request a quote.

  5. Fill out the details in the form and click Submit. The Moosend solutions team will get in touch shortly with you with a quote for your personalized plan.

Cancel your subscription plan

If you you no longer need the services of your current plan, and you want to stop paying for the subscription, you can cancel your plan. After cancellation, you will no longer have an active plan after the end of the current billing cycle and you will not have access to the platform.

To cancel your subscription plan:

  • Contact our support team via live chat or send an email to support@moosend.com with your account name and the reason for canceling.
