Track campaigns revenue

Abstract

Information on tracking revenue within your campaigns.

The Track Campaign Revenue feature allows you to monitor and track the revenue generated from your campaigns by appending the campaign ID to the URLs of the links in your emails. When enabled, this feature helps you identify which campaigns are driving sales, making it easier to analyze the performance of your marketing efforts.

When the Track Campaign Revenue feature is activated, a campaign-specific parameter is appended to the end of every tracked link. The parameter &cmid={the_campaign_id} is added to your URLs. This allows for campaign tracking and enables you to associate your campaigns with revenue data in your analytics platform.

Note

If the site or platform hosting the redirected URL is unable to support URL parameters, the addition of &cmid={the_campaign_id} might cause issues with the link redirection process. Ensure that the destination website or platform supports URL attributes and can process the appended cmid without causing errors.

To configure revenue tracking for an existing campaign:

  1. On the menu bar, click Campaigns.

  2. Click the name of the campaign you want to configure revenue for.

  3. On the menu on the left, click Set basic settings, and scroll down to Track your campaign revenue. Toggle this to Yes.

  4. Click Next.
